The 7-minute video mentioned members of La Bandera, a division of the Guerreros Unidos cartel, on their knees and being taunted whereas being held captive in the middle of the forest in Iguala, Guerrero. Spanish publication El País reported there have been 20 men in complete who have been mass executed by the gang. Carlos ‘El Cholo’ Enrique Sanchez, the previous lieutenant of a robust Mexican drug cartel was discovered incompetent in Guadalajara in March. His body was found wrapped in rubbish bags with 2 indicators pinned to it with knives. The La Bandera gang is an armed wing of the Guerreros Unidos, a cartel related to the 2014 kidnapping of 43 students in Ayotzinapa. Los Tlacos crew have been heard blaming them of “extorting and annihilating innocent folks” within the video. In November 2020, Roberto Gonzalez Montes, the chief of a drug cartel linked to the massacre of a Mormon household in Mexico which left 9 dead, was captured. The video is really horrifying as to see the execution of several people in such a disgusting way. We have seen such videos in the past from terrorist groups where they would carry horror and try to warn the world. Still don’t know if this situation is going to stop or not.
