Zak was a musician of the Cedar hill group from Tennessee and he was tragically involved in an accident. This was a hit-and-run case which soon will be getting investigated by the police. As per the reports, Zak passed away after he met with an accident with the car and he passed away on the same day on the 10th of December 2022, Saturday at the age of 57. Zak was a member of the music group called Blackheart which was founded by Joan Jett and Kenny Laguna and the band as well confirmed the demise news of Zak. They added that Zak Godwin passed away yesterday and that Zak was a beloved member of their group.

The members of the group mentioned through an online post that the musician, Zak passed away after he met with an accident while he was going on the road. It was mentioned that Zak was crossing the path when a car hit him and drove away. The group added that Zak was a good man who will be missed and will be remembered as well. The group also mentioned that the musician’s last concert along with Joan Jett and also the group Blackhearts was on the 19th of November 2022, in Pittsburgh. The accident occurred at the Charlotte Pike road on Saturday the same day Zak passed away as well. An update about the investigation has not been revealed until now.

Zak was on the road at Charlotte pike road when a speeding vehicle came and hit him. Police are currently investigating the case and it occurred at 50th Avenue North. Police are searching for the concerned vehicle involved in the accident. Police revealed now that they found car wreckage on the site of the crash but they also added that there is no one who witnessed the accident happening so far. Police now have been gathering around and they are also collecting pieces of evidence from the site of the crash. If someone witnessed the crash or knows something about the suspect then they are requested to inform the police. Zak was a songwriter, singer, and musician as well of the Blackheart group. He had his primary education from the Berklee School of music and he was also raised by the hippies in a teepee in Vermont. Apart from music, Zak never had any commercial success but he was successful in his musical career. Neil Young and Jimi Hendrix were the ones who left a great impact on Zak and his musical career. He managed to be on a tour with many artists like Joan Jett Hank Williams, Kenny Chesney, And Vince Gill. Zak also suffered cancer in his lifetime and was getting treated for it as well.
