As per the report, The University of Wisconsin football program suffered 2 tragic and sudden losses within a day and the university is in deep shock. Present players and coaches of UW got to know that on Monday, 14th November 2022 that Devin Chandler who was a return specialist wide receiver who played at the university itself in the year 2020 and part of the year 2021, was among 3 shooting deaths in the night of Sunday, 13th November 2022. This fatal shooting incident happened at the University of Virginia.

His death news of Devin left an impact on the University and after learning of the passing of Chandler, the officials of UW postponed football interviews that were earlier on Monday. Apart from Chandler, Brent Moss, the former UW tailback died on Sunday.

However, the passing of the 50-years-old made people sad and they want to know the reason for his demise. The reason for his passing has not been disclosed yet. The police lodged the case of the shooting and currently investigating the matter. Tim Longo, the Police Chief of the University of Virginia declared at the late morning news conference that the suspect, ex-Virginia football player 22-years-old Christopher Darnell Jones was presently in police custody. Jim Ryan the President of the University recognised the deceased as D’Sean Perry, Chandler, and Lavel Davis Jr. All these deceased are members of the football team of Virginia. The shooting happened close to a parking garage at the University just after 10:15 PM on Sunday, 13th November 2022. In this incident, the 3 people lost their lives and 2 gets wounded. Ryans stated that the open firing happened on the bus full of pupils coming back after doing a field trip to watch a play in Washington, D.C. Those who are injured in this shooting are presently admitted to the hospital. The condition of 1 student was critical and the other one is fine.
