Shilese Jones Car Accident Details
Shilese has been off from gymnastics since she went through a car accident last year. It was been revealed by her that after she went through the accident her back and foot went through major injuries and she had to rest until it gets completely recovered. She said that she had to go through a four-month break to complete her recovery. As many people go through breakdowns, Shilese also had a breakdown when she was recovering and she told that she questioned her ability whether she would be able to return to track or not. She said that she lost her hope and had to rest without competing for many weeks.
What Happened With Shilese Jones?
Shilese opened up about her accident and said that the car in front of her it her and at that time she was going around a roundabout. After that accident, she injured her back and her foot heavily which are the major things involved in gymnastics and she had to wait until her recovery. During her recovery, S’ilese’s father passed away as well. Sylvester Jones was the father to Shilese who had a long kidney disease and even after going through surgery and treatments her father was not able to be saved. Shilese said in a post after her father’s death that the family went was devastated after the death of her father and they also held a go-fund page to collect the funeral expenses required for her father.

Shilese was the first child of Sylvester and he was survived by Shilese her mother and his two daughters. Shilese was born on the 26th of July 2002 in Washington, USA. After a few years, the family moved to Florida and Shilese had her education at the University of Florida. She was a part of the College team called Florida Gators. She is an American by nationality and she is as of now 20 years old. Her mother’s name is Latrice, she supported her daughter in her career. Though the family is basically from Washington, they moved to Columbus, Ohio about eight years ago and they are currently living in Ohio itself.
