It’s a sad day for fans of Prof. Marian Zembala. After years of studies and research, he was hit by a car Monday afternoon in downtown Warsaw. No word on the extent of his injuries, but investigators have opened an inquiry into the circumstances. The gendarmes are looking into the circumstances surrounding the death of a retired University of Warsaw professor found dead at his home. Prof. Marian Zembala turned 57 years old in November and retired from the Faculty of Mathematics of Warsaw University in 2010. His wife was reportedly out at the time.
